TK AST TERNI - Start up and acceptance of 2 new HSM maintenance cranes 90/35 tons

Thyssenkrupp Acciai Speciali Terni S.P.A. chose Danieli to supply two new, 90/3- tons maintenance cranes for its Hot Strip Mill, including a remote maintenance control system housed in a dedicated pulpit.
The project was completed on time and on a turn-key basis.

The installation and the commissioning were executed with the HSM in full production, without any plant shut down, thanks to detailed installation sequences.

The contract also included dismantling of an old, heavy tong crane, also carried out with zero impact on production.
