Acceptance of 50+50-T Crane for Stacking Plates at NLMK DanSteel, Denmark
The process crane for stacking plates is a FEM class A6/M6 model, and guarantees a main hoist speed of 8 mpm at full load (10 mpm with no load). The auxiliary hoist travels at a speed of 10 mpm; the bridge at 80 mpm.
The process crane for stacking plates is a FEM class A6/M6 model, and guarantees a main hoist speed of 8 mpm at full load (10 mpm with no load). The auxiliary hoist travels at a speed of 10 mpm; the bridge at 80 mpm.
The crane features an independent and mobile, air-conditioned cabin that travels at a speed of 20 mpm, and ensures the maximum visibility for operators.
The hoists can be operated separately; they also can be moved simultaneously, activating the master-slave function at the inverters (the alignment is automatic). The crane was manufactured at the Danieli Centro Cranes workshops in Brescia.
Further to ease the commissioning activities, preassembly and testing carried out before shipment were limited to only 10 days, the time needed to reconstruct the 215-t crane on site and to fit in the existing buildings to match the strict dimensional limits required.
