Consolidated partnership between leading North Italian steel producer Ferriere Nord, part of Pittini group, and Danieli Centro Cranes is once again confirmed by the order of the new 16-ton scrap yard crane, 35 meters in span, A8M8 in class, awarded in December 2015.

The crane is a mirror copy of the existing one, supplied some years ago and in successful operation.

High-speed design, in order to optimize scrap charging cycles, and great attention to the maintainability of the proposed solutions are the key aspects of the project.
Electric equipment, installed in dedicated on-board air-conditioned container, follows the well-known Danieli Centro Cranes standards concerning rational arrangement of the crane layout.
Automation architecture, inspired by enhanced men-machine interface principles, ensures to the Operator a synthetic and effective overview of the complete crane operational conditions.

The crane will of course be completely manufactured, assembled and tested before shipment in our dedicated workshops near Brescia (Northern Italy) for a "plug and play" flawless commissioning
