The leading European Steelmaker Voestalpine Stahl selected Danieli as crane supplier for the first time, after extensive visits to our Italian manufacturing shops and confirmation of the high engineering standards adopted by Danieli, .........
The leading European Steelmaker Voestalpine Stahl selected Danieli as crane supplier for the first time, after extensive visits to our Italian manufacturing shops and confirmation of the high engineering standards adopted by Danieli, in line with the Austrian Steelmaker mandatory demands, customized to the detail, as for all the cranes installed in its facilities.
The new 120/10 ton Meltshop Crane shall be installed in the Linz meltshop, dedicated to the service of slab caster.
In spite of its relatively small size, top technological solutions have been imposed by Customer including:
Double closed kinematic chain, with all single redundant elements (motors, reducers) designed to handle the full load in case of whatever failure.
Double side rigid/articulated head carriage design, to ensure perfect crane stability in spite of rails condition.
Mobile Operator cabin, independent from trolley movements.
HDC ( Heavy Duty ) dimensioned Inverters.
Automation system connected with plant L3 production scheduling system.
