GERDAU group confirms its trust in Danieli as reliable and high-quality Crane supplier.
During recent months, GERDAU group awarded Danieli 2 new orders for cranes to be installed in its South American meltshops.

Gerdau SIPAR plant, Argentina
This major order refers for the complete meltshop cranes package, consisting of:
Two 25 ton scrap yard cranes
One 140(220)/45/15 ton teeming crane
One 25 ton billet handling crane , with rotating trolley
One 40(50)/10 ton CCM service crane
Plus the full set of maintenance hosts.
The cranes are conceived in accordance with relevant CMAA service classification standards for heavy duty service.
This order is executed via Danieli TermoMakina, the new Danieli fully controlled company in Turkey, whose workshop lay out and tools make it an ideal manufacturing hub for cranes.
GERDAU LAISA plant, Uruguay
This order refers to a new 32/10/2,5/2,5/ ton meltshop charging crane, designed according to A7/M7 FEM standards.
This crane, fully customized in order to take advantage of the existing spare part stock already available for other cranes in operation at the same shop, features also an advanced automation system with "assisted positioning" of the scrap buckets in selected positions, to enhance meltshop operations.
The partnership with GERDAU group and Danieli Centro Cranes dates back to 2010 and has been already materialized by the supply of 29 technological cranes at present in operation in their various mills and meltshops in the Americas including: Gerdau Corsa in Mexico, Gerdau Pindamonhangaba in Brazil, Gerdau Açominas in Brazil, Gerdau Monroe in USA and Gerdau Siderperu in Peru.
